In my experience, parents don’t usually need more information or more stuff to do it better; we often need to better connect with ourselves and the precious soul in our care. Babies are not an empty hard-drive waiting to be filled; a child comes into the world already imprinted with personality and gifts waiting to be discovered. As parents, our role is to actively nurture the potential of our child without getting in the way, and without ever losing sight of the incredible capacity our children have to bring life and healing to this world. Its probably the hardest thing you have ever had to do in your life, but it can be the most rewarding
